Award winning mixed media artist Janet Mayled trained in textile design at MMU and this remains an inspiration with her observations of colour and pattern. Her vivid and colourful compositions capture everyday observations of the people, architecture and landscapes enjoying the juxtaposition of new and old, natural and synthetic, still life and figurative. She has had her work processes featured in The Artist Magazine and has work held in public and private collections.
